McVay Brothers has been family owned for over 90 years. We have been helping Inland Northwest residents improve their homes for even longer. Installing siding, windows, roofing and rain gutters is what we do at McVay Brothers and we’ve been doing it for decades.
How Many Installations Have we completed?
We have to be honest here. We haven’t installed hundreds or even thousands, but tens of thousands of siding, window, entry door, gutter, roofing and other products.
The truth is, we don’t know how many jobs we have installed. Our best guess is in the 80-100,000 range. To the right, you can open a file which lists the addresses of the last 40,000 or so.
The names and specific products purchased are omitted for privacy. Ask your sales representative for specific addresses to look at for the product you are interested in if desired.

McVay Brothers has been serving homeowners in Eastern Washington and North Idaho since our founding.
Wilmae McVay was raised in Kellogg, ID. The company got its start delivering Okanogan County apples to the Spokane area back in the 1930s. With numerous second and third generation customers, we have been serving Inland Northwest farmers since the thirties as well.

Jeremy Dunavan
Jeremy is a veteran at helping clients pick out and design products for their homes.
With 23 years experience in the field and in sales, he knows what it takes to get the job done right. When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, playing music and sports.
Mike Arnold - Salesman
Pacific Northwest native , Washington born and a West Valley graduate, Mike has worked as a Project Manager for a large restoration company and spent 14 years in the Seattle area as a Real Estate Appraiser. When he isn't providing exceptional sales service to his customers, he enjoys spending time on the golf course, fly fishing and with his wife and kids.
Grover Krogh
Grover has two years of experience with McVay Brothers Siding and Windows, leveraging his background as an estimator, project manager, and his work in grocery industry sales and operations. A lifelong Spokane resident, Grover chose McVay Brothers for their professionalism and family-oriented environment. He enjoys sports, skiing, snowboarding, and summer water activities with his family. Known for his respect and integrity, Grover strives to leave a positive impression on everyone he meets
Jerad Burtness
Jerad comes to McVay Brothers with experience installing home remodeling products. Born and raised in Spokane and an EWU graduate (Go Eags!), Jerad enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, golfing and flying down trails on his mountain bike.

COMPLIANCE
At McVay Brothers we strive to do things legally and honestly. While most contractors will tell you everything is on the up and up, the facts prove otherwise. The month of April 2018 provides a good example.
In April (2018), the City of Spokane reported that McVay Brothers installed fifty percent of all siding installations and 46.67 percent of all (non-egress with dig out and well) window installations in the City of Spokane.
Although we strive to gain market share, we aren’t naive enough to think that all other siding and window contractors combined scarcely equal our footprint. In fact, several of our top competitors prefer the “wait and see if we get caught approach.”
Taking out permits can be costly. Without one, the state typically won’t inspect a job site for safety and most importantly, you get no third party confirmation that the windows, siding or roof you had installed was done to code. To confirm our results see here:
Your safety and the safety of your family is important to us. We test for lead on all window installations on homes older than 1978. We also test for asbestos on all re-roofs and windows when suspected.
Most companies hope to stay under the radar to save a few dollars. Failing to test for lead is a serious offense and can lead to fines in excess of 10,000 dollars.
We recommend you demand to see the most recent lead audit to confirm your contractor is in compliance.
Contractor or Clown?
Because we pull permits on every job required, we run the risk of as many as 1000+ L & I inspections per year. Many of our competitors hide or worse, they fail to insure their employees.
One local exteriors company brags on television and in print that they have decades of experienced employees. However, if you look them up on the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries Website, they claim to be a one employee company – now that’s tricky!
